This past weekend, a participant in the Shenandoah 100 mountain bike race in Harrisonburg, Virginia had the opportunity to put our product to the test. Spike, a cycling enthusiast and multiple time participant of the race, came up to the Genuine Innovations booth after registration the night before the race. We talked about bikes, current products and all of our new products to be excited about with Interbike coming up. I gave Spike a trusty Air Chuck inflator, a 20 gram cartridge, an X Mount, and wished him the best of luck for the next morning. The next evening while manning the booth as riders trickled across the finish line, Spike approached the booth with the largest grin. He thanked me for saving his race. He had been involved in a multi-bike wreck, and his tubeless tire had managed to separate its bead from the rim. Without the help of the GI products to blast his tire bead back on the rim, Spike would have not been able to continue the race. Spike went on to set his best time at the Shenandoah 100. Testimonials like this really make it all worthwhile. Congratulations to Spike and good luck out there on the trails!
