Fully Controllable CO2 Tire Inflation Technology

A common myth that we often hear about bicycle tire CO2 inflators is that you waste a lot of CO2 when inflating your tires. If your CO2 inflator head isn't locked and loaded onto the valve stem, ready to go, when the CO2 cartridge is pierced, then you are out of luck. The air comes bursting out and never makes it into your tire.

But with Genuine Innovations' CO2 tire inflators, you will never waste air! We have spent 30 years perfecting our CO2 inflation technology so that your inflation speed and power is fully controllable.

But everyone’s preferences are different when it comes to CO2 inflator heads. Some cyclists love compact, no frills technology, while others want a more robust inflator. That's why Genuine Innovations offers a variety of different inflator head technology options. Which one below fits your technology preferences?

Twist-to-Inflate Technology

Genuine Innovations Microflate Nano CO2 Inflator
How it Works:
Twist the threaded CO2 cartridge clockwise all the way into the CO2 inflator head to puncture the seal on the cartridge. Push the CO2 inflation device firmly onto your valve stem, and when you are ready to release the CO2, simply twist the cartridge counter-clockwise slightly to release air. The more you twist the cartridge, the more air you will release.

Push-to-Inflate Technology

How it Works:
Twist the threaded CO2 cartridge clockwise all the way into the CO2 inflator head to puncture the seal on the cartridge. Place the CO2 inflation device onto your valve stem and when you are ready to release the CO2, simply push the inflator head firmly down on the valve stem. The harder you push down, the more air you will release.

Trigger-Controlled Technology

Genuine Innovations CO2 Inflators with Trigger-Controlled Technology
How it Works:
Push (non-threaded) or twist clockwise (threaded) the CO2 cartridge into the CO2 inflator head to puncture the seal on the cartridge. Place the CO2 inflation device onto your valve stem and when you are ready to release the CO2, simply push down on the trigger to release the air.

On the HammerHead, the green trigger is located at the back of the inflator head. On the Ultraflate, the trigger is the green lever below the inflator head. On the Ultraflate, when you are finished inflating, you can lock the trigger to prevent accidental CO2 discharge.
